News & Events

For the CT Sports Foundation, we hold our annual Halloween event in Norwich called Spook-a-thon sponsored by Panera Bread, a family friendly Halloween event featuring haunted houses and the brand new this year, the Family 4K Cornstalk Walk (info below). In addition we support their Cycle Against Cancer event and Annual Dinner and Memorabilia Auction held at Mohegan Sun in February and host an in-café I LOVE MOM fundraising campaign before Mother’s Day.  In October CSF is the beneficiary of our Pink Ribbon Bagel campagin with support of Rebecca Lobo, where .25 of each Pink Ribbon Bagel sold will go to local families battling cancer.
For Ryan’s Hope, we host the annual June Kids Night at our café in Plainville. MA. The second annual PALapalooza Color Dash and Splash 5K and Softball event sponsored by Panera Bread takes place in September, 9/14/14.
For Children’s Friend, we support the Children’s Friend Luncheon in October, Cookie Decorating fundraisers, Foster Care program and Spirit of Holiday Gift Drive. For the Holiday Drive we create gift tags specific to the children in need and display in our cafes for 3 weeks, our General Managers and team then bring the collected gifts to Children’s Friend to help them sort and organize for those local families in need. Our main event is Children’s Friend Walk & Run sponsored by Panera Bread held in April. See article below: Click on any of the pictures for more information.
