Lee Howley III

Director of Information Technology

Lee (3) provides back office IT support for three Panera Bread franchises. He is responsible for email and server maintenance at the corporate headquarters in Westlake, Ohio.  He spearheaded the implementation of an HRIS system and has overseen multiple Panera technology rollouts that have increased manager efficiency and reduced the need for more manual entry of data. He enjoys long bike rides through the Cleveland Metro Parks.

Chrissy Smink

Payroll Assistant

Chrissy is a graduate of Bryant & Stratton with a bachelor’s degree in Modern Office Training. Her prior positions were with a kidney dialysis billing company for 10 years, a payroll specialist with Riddell, and a project manager with a telecommunications company. Chrissy’s hobbies including throwing darts in a league for the past 17 years, raising her son, and attending her son’s sporting events. In her down time, Chrissy enjoys going to concerts, vacationing to warm destinations and enjoying time with friends and family.


Lindsey Broderick

Accounting Assistant

Lindsey, the newest member of the team, handles accounts payable, vendor contact and onboarding, as well as café permits and licensing. 


After moving from Chicago to Northeast Ohio, she worked at Advanced Partners doing payroll before joining Howley Bread.


Currently working towards her Accounting degree at Cleveland State University, Lindsey manages to juggle her time between her 3.5-year-old son and their dog, an American Boxer named Krumbley Sue.  You can find them outside exploring the Metroparks, on bike rides, or frequenting Lakewood Park.


Adam Vanek

Financial Analyst

Adam is responsible for all report writing, analysis, special projects, and supporting the accounting team. He graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a Bachelors in Accounting and Finance. Previously he worked for a Healthcare IT startup and before that spent over six years with a franchisee of a multi-unit smoothie concept where he worked his way from Shift Leader to District Manager, while performing all financial functions for franchisee. When Adam not ‘slaying the numbers dragon,' he can usually be found volunteering at his church, reading or catching up with family and friends. He also loves cooking, the occasional video game and is a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan.

Pam Yezbak

Staff Accountant

Pam is responsible for many accounting functions, i.e. balancing cash, reviewing and paying utility invoices, manual DCRs, and month-end close entries. Before coming to HBG in 2006, Pam worked in accounting for a hotel company. Her life is filled with doubles; she is an identical twin, has identical twin sons and is blessed with four beautiful grandchildren who keep her very busy.
